Head-On Collision leaves a child in critical condition

Manatee County – January 11, 2021

A severe accident involving three adults and a child happened on U.S. 41 near Palmetto, Florida. An 18-year old woman crossed the median and drove the wrong way towards northbound traffic. The sedan then collided head on with an SUV where a 36-year old woman and child were struck. The brute force of that collision sent the SUV to hit another SUV which a 34-year old Palmetto woman was in.

Head-on collisions are the most dangerous types of accidents. Many times these types of collisions are due to alcohol, fog, or construction. These accidents generally cause life threatening injuries.
