A man's van drives through window of restaurant in tampa area

A van crashed through the window of a busy restaurant in the University of Tampa area Wednesday afternoon. The driver of the van apparently stepped on the wrong pedal, accelerating the vehicle into the building. Fortunately, nobody was killed during the incident but five people did receive minor injuries. The restaurant has been temporarily closed because of the accident but hopes to be open for Mother’s Day.
